ENGLEWOOD, FL -- Raymond G. Prince, 84, passed away on Jan. 7, 2012, after a long illness.
He was born May 4, 1927 in Fitchburg, MA. He was now living in Englewood, FL.
He is the former husband of 51 years to Lucille (Rheault) Prince. He leaves his present wife, Patricia (Vonzagorski) Prince; his son, Donald and wife, Patricia; two grandchildren, Melissa Baker and Daniel Prince; and two great-grandchildren. Ray also had five step-children; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren; his brother, Deacon Norman Prince and wife, Irene; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother, Deacon Ernest Prince, and his wife, Claire.
Ray retired in 1982 after 35 years of service at Crocker Burbank, Weyerhouser and James River.
He was a Veteran of WWII serving in Germany.
He loved to tinker and was a jack-of-all-trades. If it needed to be fixed, Ray would try.
PRINCE -- No service will be held at this time. A spring service will be planned.
Memorial donations are welcomed to the Hospice Home in Port Charlotte, FL.
