Biography

Pierre Rémi Prince was born and baptized on 1 Oct 1821 in Saint-Grégoire parish in Bécancour, Nicolet. He was the son of Pierre Prince, farmer, and Marguerite Pratte of this parish. Sponsors at Pierre's baptism were Jean Prince and Marguerite Lamothe Hébert; Jean Prince signed the register.

At age 23 Pierre married Marie Esther Corriveau on 4 Oct 1853 in Saint-Eusèbe parish in Princeville, Stanford, Canada-Est. There were three known children born into this marriage.
