François Prince was born on May 1, 1771 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Quebec Province, son of Jean Baptiste Le Prince and Madeleine Bourg.

François (25) married Marguerite Doucet (20) (born in Trois-Rivières, Saint-Maurice, Quebec) on Aug 21, 1796 in Nicolet.

Their known children were:
