Mary Prince, the daughter of John Prince and Sarah Berry was born 16 Apr 1744 in Frederick County, Virginia and and died (aged 62–63) in 1807 at Spartanburg, South Carolina. She was buried at Earle Family Cemetery in Landrum, Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States.

She married Judge Baylis Earle, the son of Samuel Earle and Anna Sorrell on 16 April 1757 in Frederick County, Virginia. He was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Virginia Militia in 1767 and served in the Revolutionary War. [2]
They had fourteen children which is being researched. According to I.N. Earle, eight were born in Virginia and six in Carolina. Their names and a very brief biography can be found on pg.157 of the referenced book, History and genealogy of the Earles of Secaucus.[3]

(1) Sallie Earle, b. 4 January 1759 in Virginia. m. Edward Hampton of South Carolina, a brother of Wade Hampton I (1754-1835), colonel in the Revolution and brigadier general in the War of 1812; Wade Hampton II (1791-1858), planter, was his son; and Wade Hampton III (1818-1902), his son, was the U.S. statesman and Confederate lieutenant general.
(2) Captain Samuel Earle, b. 28 November 1760 in Frederick County, Virginia. m. Harriet, daughter of James and Elizabeth (Hampton) Harrison, on 12 March 1793.
(3) Jack Earle, b. 1762 in Virginia and died at the age of five years.
(4) Anna Earle, b. 24 December 1764 in Virginia. m. Ephraim Reese and removed to Kentucky.
(5) John Earle, b. 18 September 1766. m. Nancy Holland Burns before 1790. Removed to Meckleberg County, Kentucky in 1800.
(6) Baylis Earle, Jr., b. 11 September 1768 in Virginia. m. Mrs. Anna Hewlett. Removed to Kentucky in 1800.
(7) Demaris Earle, b. 11 January 1771 in Virginia. d. 8 March 1804. m. Michael Dillingham.
(8) Rhoda Earle, b. 25 May 1773 in Virginia. m. Benjamin Clark and emigrated to Kentucky.
(9) Miriam Earle, b. 4 November 1775 in South Carolina. m. John William Gowen, a Revolutionary soldier.
(10) Thomas Price Earle, b. 16 September 1778 in South Carolina. m. Mary Stallard.
(11) Edward Hampton Earle, b. 15 October 1780 in South Carolina. Emigrated to Kentucky, m. Susan Davis.
(12) Theron Earle, b. 13 March 1783 in Earlsville, South Carolina. m. Hannah Miller, daughter of Michael Miller. Theron Earle d. 3 November 1841.
(13) Aspasia Earle, b. 21 February 1785 in Earlsville, South Carolina. m. Mary Montague.
(14) Providence Earle, b. 10 July 1788. m. John Lucas and emigrated to Kentucky.
