Hi. In the last few years I've gotten interested in my family's genealogy, because my grandmothers both had very a very thorough history of their families, but neither of my grandfathers did. My mother didn't even know her paternal great grandparents' first names, or really anything about her father's family. I've been working on it for a while, and the feeling of making a breakthrough on something you've been stuck on is addictive. I'm hooked.

Anyway, I'm happy to be here and look forward to contributing.
