Biography

Elizabeth was born about 1808. She may have been the daughter of William Pritchard and Susanna Mellon. If so she was christened on 20 February 1815 at the Old Chapel, Arthur Street, Oswestry, Shropshire, England.^[1]

She married William Shotter on 23 February 1828 in St Gregory by St Paul, London, England. ^[2]

They had five sons.

UK Census Date 1841: Living with her husband and three children Charles, George and Alfred at 59 Walnut Tree Walk, St Mary Lambeth, Surrey, England. Aged about 30. Her husband was a Woollen Draper.

Her husband William passed away in 1849.

In the Census of 1851 Elizabeth may have been recorded in Gloster Street, Saint Mary Lambeth, Surrey, England. Aged 42 and a widow.

Occupation: Shoemaker

Elizabeth passed away in 1853 at the age of 45.^[3] Place of Death: Workhouse Princes Road.
