Biography

Sarah Jane Emaline Pritchard was born on 12 Oct 1835 in Tennessee, United States, daughter of Henry Pritchard and Rachel (UNKNOWN) Pritchard.[citation needed]

Sarah (~20) married Richard Thomas Treat (~19) in 1856 in Bearden, Marion, Arkansas. Their children were:

  1. Eliza
  2. Stephen Henry Treat[1]
  3. Richard Oliver Treat
  4. Alfred
  5. James Elonzo Treat[2]
  6. William
  7. x Rachel Belzona (Treat) Rains
  8. Elbert Treat
  9. Pinkney.[3][4]

By 1910 Richard and Emaline were still living with Elbert, who has taken over management of the farm and home.[5] Sarah died on 12 Aug 1912 in Searcy County, Arkansas aged 76. She is buried in Nubbin Hill Cemetery, Leslie, Arkansas.[6]
