Joseph Pritchard was christened 24 Oct 1697 in Milford, New Haven, Connecticut, and passed away in 1766 at Watertown, New Haven, Connecticut.[1] He was the son of Benjamin Pritchard and Rebecca Jones.[1] Joseph married in Bristol, Rhode Island, August, 1740, Mary Gaines, and had Joseph and Mary, recorded in Bristol. Mary Gaines was born July 29, 1722, daughter of Thomas and Tabltha Gaines. Thomas was a sea captain, and died at sea, November, 1729. Joseph Prichard died ; and his widow married, in 1763, James Welton, and died November 17, 1807, aged 86 years.[2]
