Robert was an early member of the Guinston Presbyterian Church in York County, Pennsylvania, but did not reaffirm his membership after the schism in the Pensylvania Presbyterian churches in 1793.[2]
Last Will and Testament: On May 22, 1802, Robert Proudfoot, of Hopewell Township, York, Pennsylvania executed his Last Will and Testament. There was an undated Codicial. The Will was proven on June 8, 1802 in York County Court, Pennsylvania.[3]
