Biography

Sally was born on 19 Dec 1794.[1] She was the daughter of John Prouty and his second wife, Alice Ann Daggett, and was probably born at Langdon, Sullivan, New Hampshire.[2] (The original profile showed that she was born on 15 Aug 1794 in Westmoreland, New Hampshire, with no source or citation. There was a Sally Prouty, the daughter of a John Prouty, who was born on 15 Aug 1793 at Newport, New Hampshire.[3])

Israel Ide Jr. and Salley Prouty were married on 16 March 1815. Israel was of Coventry, and the marriage was recorded in Newport, Vermont. The ceremony was performed by Amos Sawyer, Justice of the Peace.[4]

She died on 23 Dec 1867 and is buried at the Oak Park Cemetery, Mondovi, Buffalo County, Wisconsin.[1] You can see a picture of her broker gravestone at FindAGrave. It says that she was the wife of Elder Israel Ide and was 78 years, 4 months and [18 days??] old when she died.
