Biography

Mildred Prudden was christened on May 14, 1653, at 1st Congregational Church, Milford, New Haven, Connecticut, [1]

Mildren Prudden, daughter of the Rev. Peter & Joanna (Boyse) Prudden of Milford, married Sylvanus Baldwin, on September 20, 1671 in Milford, New Haven, CT.[2]

It is believed that Silvanus & Mildred moved the remainder their family of eight known children[3] (most died young) from Milford to New Milford (now Woodbridge) and lived their remaining lives in New Milford. Records show that in 1716, Silvanus Baldwin was a "messenger" in the ordination of Rev. Daniel Bordman, pastor of the First Church of Christ in New Milford, New Haven, Conn.[2]
