Samuel was born about 1778. He married Mary "Polly" Watkins.^[1] He passed away about 1845.

On December 10, 1800 - bought 100 acres of Head Branch of South Fork of Ruckers Run from Major King and wife Sealy. He paid 70 pounds for the land. Deed was recorded in Deed Book I, page 173 in the Amherst County Courthouse.

On April 20, 1801 - Sold Zachariah King 55 acres on a mountain between Hatt Creek and the Headwaters of Ruckers Run. Received $50.00. Deed and land transaction are recorded oin Book I, page 203 at the Amherst County Courthouse.

On October 10, 1806 - Together with Zachariah King, 100 acres were sold for 100 pounds to James Wills, Jr. The deed and transaction are recorded in Book K, Page 504 at the Amherst County Courthouse. These were the same 100 acres that were purchase in 1800.

Samuel was born in 1778. He passed away about 1845.
