Biography

Ann Pullman was born in 1763, the daughter of John Pullman and Sarah Chaffey. She was baptised on 09 May 1763, at St Denis' Church, Stoke Sub Hamdon, Somerset, England.^{[1] [2]}

Pulman is also shown as Pullman on some registration entries.

In 1784, Ann Pullman married, by banns, John Cooper in St Mary's Church, Stoke sub Hamdon, Somerset.^[3]

Ann is recorded in the 1841 Census as living in Bishopstone St, Montacute. She has put her age as 75, but ages were rounded to the nearest 5 yrs. Also at the same address is a John Cooper, age listed as 50, occupation Labourer. This is possibly her son John Cooper.^[4][5]

Ann, a widow, is recorded in the 1851 Census as living in Montacute, Somerset, England, aged 87.^[6]

Ann passed away in 1854, aged 90. She was buried 23-12-1854 in St Catherine's, Montacute.^[7]
