Biography
Rose Pulter was a granddaughter of John Pulter of St Ives, Huntingdonshire.[1] Her last name at birth is unknown, and Pulter is only one possibility. [2] The spelling of the Pulter names appears in various forms in records.
Rose (Pulter) Overton died before the inquisition post mortem on 23 Oct 1522, for the estate of her husband William who died in 1487, but her exact date of death is unknown.[3]

I adopted this profile, so I don't know where the DOB of 1458 came from, likely a typo for 1438, since that is also the DOB for her husband. Since she was married in 1459 and Guthlake was born in 1478, a DOB of c1442 would be reasonable, since she would have been 36 at his birth and 4 years older than her husband, and her mother would have been 32.
I question the birth date of Rose as 1458 if the date of her marriage was 1459! Her son, Guthlake. is mentioned on page 161 of "The Overton Family" by John G. Hunt, with the following: "In 1535 at the i.p.m. of his brother, Thomas, he is styled "Cuthlac [sic] Overton of London, gent., aged 57 years and upwards..." This would make Guthlake born by 1478. I would put her birth date as probably around 1435.
