Nelly Bethia Purdy was born circa 1885, a daughter of Fredrick William Purdy and Flora Anna Playse of Penobscot, Maine[1][2][3]
On May 3, 1906, she married Arthur Crawley Archibald, a Baptist Minister, and son of Baptist Minister Eliakim Archibald and his wife Cynthia "Annie" Bradshaw in Bear River[3]

Harriet Evelyn (Archibald) Hughes, born 1907
Kalman Archibald, born 1912
Bryan Archibald, born 1915
She and Arthur retired to Penny Farms, a retirement community for Baptist Ministers in Florida, along with his two brothers and their wives[4]. Nelly died in Volusia 14 Jan 1962[5], and was buried in Shady Rest Cemetery along with her husband[6]
