Research Notes
Since he had removed to Nassau by 1794, Monmouth appears unlikely to be the father of Samuel Hart Purdy and Ezekiel Bishop Purdy, reportedly born to him in Westchester in 1794 and 1795. Further research needed. ( Halsey Bullen.
Since Monmouth Purdy brought three daughters to the Bahamas - born in the 1770s - he can not be the Monmouth Purdy born in 1766.
Monmouth Purdy sold Lot 10 (Nassau) to William Greig in 1799 for 140 pounds. ...Sarah married William Grieg (of Scotland)."

Monmouth Hart Purdy is an unlikely to have been the child of Mary Hart Purdy, who was are 54 in his purported birth year of 1750, and Jonathan Purdy. And there are no sources to support that. Perhaps he is the child of another couple, but he should be disconnected from those parents.
