Mrs. Gertrude Pryer, who was born February 11, 1840, in Forest county, died Tuesday morning at 1:45 o'clock at her home in Rockland. She was the widow of the late John Pryer, who died April 17, 1894. The deceased lived in Rocklandtownship for 54 years. The children surviving are Wallace Pryer, of Rockland,; Mrs. C. E. Ferringer, of Salina; Mrs. C. E. Herron, of Oakdale, and R. C. French, of Middletown, O. Mrs. Pryer was the mother of the late Norman Pryer, who fell from a telegraph pole several months ago and sustained injuries from which he died soon after in the Franklin Hospital. The funeral will take place at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon, with Rev. Galbreath, of the Rockland Methodist Episcopal church, officiating. Interment will be in the Rockland cemetery at Davis Corners.

The funeral of Mrs. Pryor of Pine Hill, took place Monday afternoon at the home of her son, Wallace Pryor with whom she lived since the death of her son the late Norman Pryor.

Mrs. Gertrude Jane Pryer, widow of John Pryer, who died in 1804, died at 1:45 o'clock, Tuesday a. m., at the home of her son, Wallace Pryer, near Coal City, Rockland township, from chronic bronchitis. The deceased was 78 years oldand was born in Forest county, on Feb. 11, 1839. She had lived in Rockland township for 54 years. The following children survive: Wallace, of Coal City; Mrs. C. E. Ferringer, of Salina; Mrs. C. D. Heron, of Oakdale; Mrs. R. C. French, of New Middlestown, O.
