Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hello,

Thank you for signing the Honor code. Collaboration, accurate information and good sources are the basis for a great WikiTree.

By signing the Honor Code you're telling others you are a responsible Wiki genealogist.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Guy - Wikitree Mentor / Leader

Hi Wanda, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - We are building One Collaborative Tree, with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Also, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.

If you need help getting started, view this introductory WikiTree video. Also, check out the Help Index and the G2G forum. - Good luck growing your branches, Patt -

I have been researching genealogy since 1960. Getting sources for my genealogy is at the very heart of prudence for any ancestor or descendant. Moreover, giving credit for sources are important and following copy write is paramount to me. Lastly, I am a willing person who has helped others with their ancestors.
