Moses Pyle married Mary Darlington, his first wife, daughter of Abraham Darlington and Elizabeth Hillborn, at the Birmingham Meeting, Chester Co., Pa, on Feb 29, 1736. {NOTE: Must have been an "intention" of marriage - see actual marriage document dates below.)[1]

"Moses and Mary Pyle settled within the limits of Londongrove Meeting, taking a certificate of membership from Concord to New Garden Monthly Meeting, dated 8 mo. 4, 1736".[1]
"Mary's death probably occurred about 1739, and we find that Moses Pyle, of Newlin township [just West of Philadelphia], was married a second time, at Londongrove Meeting, 10 mo. 9, 1741 (translates to 9 DEC 1741), to Mary Cook, daughter of John and Eleanor Cook, of Londongrove".[1]

In 1767 he was living in New Castle County, and was suffering pecuniary embarrassment [financial hardship], but in 1772, sold his mills and plantation to pay his debts. About 1779 he settled in Little Britain township, Lancaster County, where he died in the first month, 1784. [1]
Moses had 2 children with Mary Darlington, (names unknown) and the following children with Mary Cook:[1]
Hannah, Mary, Phoebe, Ruth, Amos [NOTE: In his will, Moses mentions Ruth and Phebe, then Lydia and Hannah and finally, Abraham and Amos as executors. Mary passed on 2 JAN 1784, before Moses died which explains why she wasn't named in the will but might aid in the naming of Moses & Mary (Darlington)'s two missing children who then might be Abraham and Lydia.]
Moses Pyle was noted in Lancaster cty Mennonite Vital Records as being married on 29 February 1736 (to Mary Darlington) and passing in JAN 1784.[8]
Moses Pyle was in a family history in North America, Family Histories stating his life's events ending with his passing in January 1784 in Little Britain Township, Lancaster County.[9]
Moses Pyle's estate was in the probate process in 1771-1784. "On the 8 JAN 1784, late of Little Britain township in the county of Lancaster state of Pennsylvania yeoman, being sick of body . . . and lying on his death bed and in the time of his last sickness whereof he died, did therefore settle and dispose of his estate by word of mouth . . to the house of James King . . . did say and declare in the following words to wit: I give to my daughter Ruth, a bond from Jacob Dixon and to my daughter Phebe my silver watch . . .
