Biography

Horace Pyles was enumerated as son of the head of household in ED 30 Justice Precinct 7, Cass County, Texas for the June 25, United States Census, 1900. He was noted as born August 1892 in Texas and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head David H Pyles, wife Sallie Pyles, son Herchel Pyles and son Louis Pyles.[1]

Horrace Pyle was enumerated as head of the household at Bridge Creek Road for the January 12, United States Census, 1920. He was noted as born 1894 in Texas and married. He was an owner and a farmer on a general farm as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Maggie M Pyle and daughter Aurelia Pyle.[2]

Horace Pyle was enumerated as head of the household in Sulphur, Miller County, Arkansas for the April 8, United States Census, 1930. He was noted as born 1895 in Texas and married. He was first married at the age of twenty-three. He was a renter and a farmer on a general farm as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are wife Maggie Pyle, daughter Aurelia Pyle and son Hartford Pyle.[3]

Horrace Pyle wed Clarra Litton August 26, 1932 in Linden, Cass County, Texas.[4]
