Biography
Mary Ellen Quarles was born about 1774 in Nottoway Parish, Amelia, Virginia; her father was David Quarlesand her mother is unknown.
Mary Ellen married Robert McFarland about 1792 and Robert is listed in the 1830 census of Franklin County, Georgia. Mary Ellen would have been his wife at that time. They had eight children during their marriage.[1]
Mary Ellen reportedly died in 1849 in Franklin County, Georgia.
