Rev. Richard Somerville Quigley B.A., B.D., B.S.L., M.A., Ph.D.
Rev. Richie came to Nova Scotia with his parents about 1900 where he worked for a time as a miner. He later attended Brown University in Providence R.I. where he received an Master of Arts Degree. Richard continued his education taking courses in engineering and returned to the mines. He then studied Theology at Temple University in Philadelphia recieving a Ph.D.. His first charges were in the States. He was minister at Donegal Presbyterian Church in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania from 1918 - 1920. Later he moved to Cornwall, Ont. from 1930-1937 then several congregations in the Maritimes ending with Port Elgin in 1951.
