Biography

NOTE: Parents of Philip are shown as "uncertain". Nothing has been found to prove they were Daniel Quigley and Susannah Yerto. It is purely speculation, unsupported by any primary resources.

Philip was born about 1706. He passed away about 1749. early 1700s The Quigleys settled in Nottingham, Burlington Co, NJ. They were noted deer hunters, and the cluster of houses on the road from White Horse to Sandtown, called "Dogtown" was so named because to the number of dogs kept by the Quigleys for the purpose of tracking deer. 28 Sep 1733 Married to Mary Pearson in Burlington Co, NJ; occupation listed as "stave-getter" on marriage certificate
