She was the wife of James Joseph Carey and they were married in 1903 (to August 22, 1921 upon his death) in West Derby, Lancashire, England.[4]
She was the second wife of John Angus Smith, her second marriage also, and they married January 12, 1927 in Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States.[5][6]
She died June 29, 1967 in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States and was buried in Highland Park Cemetery, Highland Hills, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, USA[7][8]
