Robert was the youngest child of William Quinn and Elizabeth Rutherford Quinn. He was 2 years old when his father perished in the Civil War. After his mother died in 1894. He married Bertha Jane Cribbins. Together they had 9 children. He purchased the Quinn farm from his mother Elizabeth. Today the farm remains in the Quinn family after 150 years.
