Biography

Sarah was born about 1830 in Armagh, Ireland. She was the daughter of John Quinn and Sarah (maiden name unknown).[1]

Sarah married Daniel Annon on 5 Apr, 1853 in Armagh, County Armagh, Ireland.[2]

Sarah came to Australia with her young family aboard the vessel Edward Oliver, which sailed into Sydney on 22 Nov, 1856.[3] The following family members were listed on arrival:

  • Daniel Annon, 27, carpenter, native of Armagh, able to read and write.
  • Sarah Annon, 26, wife, native of Armagh, able to read and write.
  • Catherine Annon, 2, daughter, native of Monaghan.
