Mrs. Bernice (Rader) Paul, 42, died at 2am Wednesday, August 27th, 1958 at Iroquois Hospital in Watseka, Illinois. Death resulted from a heart attack suffered at her home , 114 Pearl St, at 7:30pm Tuesday when she was at the Watseka Hospital. Funeral at Barker Funeral Home at 2pm Friday August 29th. Reverend A.D. Gould. Buried at Maple Grove cemetery. She was born December 3, 1915 on a farm near Wellington, Illinois. Elmer Rader and LaVina Thomas Rader are her parents. She married James Lindsley Paul on Oct 3, 1934. SHe had five children, three boys and two girls: Katherin, Ella, Ted, Charles and Rocky. She had four sisters and two borthers; Mrs. Rhuie Sturm, Mrs. Pearl Smith, Mrs. Hazel Smith, Everett Rader, Walter Rader, and Mrs. Rosemary Landes, who died on March 22, 1958. Funeral Friday for Mrs. Paul, 42, of Milford
MILFORD (JNS) - Mrs. Bernice Paul, 42, dies at 2 a.m. today in Iroquois Hospital, Watseka. Mrs. Paul became ill about 7 p.m. Tuesday and was taken to the hospital. Death apparently resulted from a stroke and a blood clot. Mrs. Paul was born on Dec. 3., 1915 on a farm near Wellington, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. Elmer Rader. She was married on Oct. 3, 1934 to James Lindsley Paul. Surviving are the widower; sons, Theodore, Charles and Rocky, all at home; daughters, Mrs. Ella Marie O'Connor, Flint, Mich., and Mrs. Catherine Irene Taden of Watseka; her father and a step-mother of Milford; sisters, Mrs. Rhuie Sturn and Mrs. Pearl Smith, both of Milford, and Mrs. Hazel Smith, Watseka; brothers, Everett Rader of Watseka and Walter Rader of Perrysville, Ind. She was preceded in death by her mother, a sister and four brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Barker Funeral Home, the Rev. A.D. Gould, pastor of the Nazarene Church, officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today until the hour of the services.
