Biography

Charles was a son of David and Ruth (Henton) Rader. He had five brothers and four sisters.

He married Lavina Whitman, 1822, Carlisle, Sullivan County, Indiana. They had seven children, Silas, Thomas, Peter, Benjamin. John, David, and Rufus.

Conflicts

  • According to Benjamin Franklin's census of 1880 Charles was born in Germany.
however DNA results point to a Virginia home.
