LNAB may have been Netherland or Radford, but there is no direct evidence for either.
DNA match to Netherland.
Probable last name = Radford. Walter's sister Elizabeth married John Radford, who witnessed a 1749 deed where land was transferred from Silvanus to Walter Maxey.

Delmas Maxey
Darcey Zumwalt (smanddl@comcast.net) states, "Mary Netherland married Wm Harris in 1738 - the same year she supposedly married Walter Maxey. Also, Mary (Netherland) Harris marries a second time to Samuel Tucker Woodson in 1751."

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Netherland-173 and Netherland-154 appear to represent the same person because: These are clearly the same person. Multiple generations of duplicates created along a line of Maxeys. On WIkiTree there should only one instance of each person.

Headed to Maxey cemetery Saturday to see if I can find any info. There are 2 Maxey cemeteries that I know of. 1 in Franklin and 1 in Bedford. Wish me luck!
After researching Mary Radford ( I think this to be DAR name for Mary) if our Mary is Mary Radford the DAR says, then I found Elizabeth daughter of Edward Maxey and Susannah Gates married a John Radford. John and Elizabeth had a daughter named Mary Radford born abt 1720, then this Mary Radford married her uncle (I think) Walter! All the other Mary Radford's I found in the area married men that do not end in the name Maxey.
