The family lived in Des Moines until about 1963 when my mother moved the family south to Mercer County, Missouri to be closer to my grandparents who lived nearby.

Begin working full time at Country Pride Foods, later named Con Agra Foods, in Natchitoches in December 1980.
In July 1983 my mother passed away.
I continued to live and work in Natchitoches until June 1989.
