Biography

Elizabeth, born in 1852, ^[1] was the daughter of Robert Railton and Jane Wilkinson. In 1871, she lived with her parents and younger siblings in Middlesbrough, Durham.^[2] In 1881 she was married to John Sutherland, an "engine man," and had two daughters, Mary Jane and Isabella. They lived at 32 Station Street, Middlesbrough.^[3]
