Biography

William was born in 1839. He is the son of William Ralls and Mary Corbin. He passed away before 1907. [1]

1850 Census: William Ralls is living in the home of his parents, William (44) and Mary (40) Ralls, in the Madison Township of Sevier County, Arkansas. Ther record notes that William is 11 years old and that he was born in Tennessee.Also listed in the household are William's siblings Willis (17), Mary (13), Isam (9), Elizabeth (7), James (5), Benjamin (3), and Eavy (3 months).[2]

1870: William Ralls and his wife Margret (27) are living in the Sulphur Springs Township, Newton County, Arkansas. The record shows that William is 31 and that he was born in Tennessee. The couple have 2 children: Isham (5) and Margret (3 months).[3]

7 Nov 1878: William N. Ralls and Miss Martha Ciles (21) were married in Howard County, Arkansas. Ther record reflects that Willam was 40 years old and that he was a resident of Madison. Arkansas.[4][5]

1880 Census: William N. and Martha (23) Ralls are living in the Blackwood Township of Howard County, Arkansas. The record indicates that William is 42 years of age and that he was born in Tennessee. There are 5 children in the household: Isham (13), Rebecca (10), Luella (8), Martha (5), and Mary E. (20).[6]
