Biography
William Scott Ralston was born on 24 February 1850 in Dalry, Ayrshire, Scotland, the son of Margaret Whiteford and Samuel Ralston.[1]
He migrated to Australia in 1852, arriving at Phillip Bay, Victoria on the ship 'Montgomery'.[2]
He married Emmaline Carter in 1879 in Victoria.[3]
