My name is Valerie Anne Duminy, nee Ramsay. I was born in Cape Town and have three brothers and a sister. I am trying to trace my ancestry especially from my father's side. He was Reginald Frederick Ramsay, born in the UK. He came to South Africa during the First World War. He was employed at Metal Box Company (MB 1) as an Engineer. He enjoyed cycling. We have three medals he received for races he participated in in Cape Town area. My Mother was Johanna Petronella Le Roux born in the Western Cape on 26 December 1925.
