Biography

When Robert Ramsey and his twin brother Robert were born in 1730 in Augusta, Virginia, their father, Robert, was 28, and their mother, Isabella, was 40. He married Margaret Nisbet in 1755 in South Carolina. They had seven children in 27 years. He died in 1792 in Lancaster, South Carolina, at the age of 62.
