Biography

Elizabeth Rand was born on 2 Aug 1716 in Rye, New Hampshire, to Nathaniel Rand and Elizabeth Marden. [1] She married James Philbrick. She died on 15 May 1763 and was buried in the family cemetery in Deerfield, NH.[2]

Notes

James 5, b. 2 June, 1714, m. Elizabeth (or Sarah) Rand of Rye and had 13 children. He is supposed to have married twice,, (1) Elizabeth, (2) Sarah. James 5, went to Deerfield in 1770, and in 1795, he sold to his son, Nathan, a joiner of Deerfield, thatch ground in Rye, (d. Deerfield, 15 Apr 1796) (Chapman - p19)[3]

Rand-294 and Rand-140 appear to represent the same person because: Not all the children listed match; however, enough other information matches so that I am fairly certain they are the same person.
