Biography
Samuel was born on 15 Aug 1777 in Virginia. He was the son of Stephen Raney and Polly Wayland. He married Margaret Fortenberry on 4 May 1794 in Virginia. He passed away on 1 Nov 1857 in Lawrence, Arkansas.
