Biography
There are two lines of Raineys/Raneys in VA that researchers have not been able to connect, despite DNA matches. Since I have both in my family tree, I try to distinguish the two lines by calling one Rainey and the other Raney, but the names are arbitrary.
Harriet was born in 1819. She was the daughter of Williamson Rainey and Martha Cook. She passed away in 1880.
