Biography
Isabel Jane was born on 14 September 1826 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Robert Rankin and Isabel Rankin.[1]
Isabel Jane married Joe Sephus Poe on 8 November 1842 in Methodist Episcopal Church, Pope, Arkansas. The couple had 9 children: Christopher Columbus Poe, George Marion Poe, Theron Monroe Poe, Mary Ann Poe, Martha Jane Poe, Isabell Francis Poe, Sophronia C. Poe, Sarah Ellen Poe and Dora Etta Poe.[2]
On 4 September 1860 Isabel Jane was living in Griffen, Pope, Arkansas.[3]
On 22 June 1880 Isabel Jane was living in Griffen, Pope, Arkansas.[4]
Isabel Jane died on 20 February 1899 in Pope, Arkansas.[1]
