Biography

Elias was born in 1795. He is a descendant of Mayflower Passengers John Howland and Elizabeth Tilley through his father, Elias Ransom.

He married Ann Frances Whipple 20 Nov 1826 in Lockport. He died in Brantford, Ontario 30 Dec 1875. [1]

Ransom-2144 and Ransom-482 appear to represent the same person because: I am certain as this Elias is my 3x great granddad. I am in possession of original letters (dated 1825-26) relating to his courtship with Ann Frances Whipple.
