Louise E. Rapien, 82, of Highland, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday in the Madison County Nursing Home. She had been a patient there for one year.
She was born on June 9, 1891, in HIghland, a daughter of the late Bernard and A. Mathilda Jakel Rapien.
She leaves a sister, Mrs.Catherine Manley, Highland, and brothers Joseph Rapien, St. Louis, William Rapien, Hardin, and Raymond Rapien and Sylvester Rapien, both of Highland.
