Sergeant Nathan Raymond served with 17th Continental Regiment (1776), Continental Army during the American Revolution.
He was a Sergeant in the Company of
his uncle, Captain Joseph Jewett. Was captured at the Battle of Flatbush, and died Jan. 16, 1777, with the small-pox
soon after his release and return home.
