He was christened on 5 December 1830 at St. Michael's, Liverpool, Lancashire, England[1]. He was christened at a different church to his sisters - his parents were recorded as Henry and Sarah Rea of Park Lane. His father was a Master Mariner.
Sadly he died in 1831 at the age of 14 months. Hamilton was buried at 4 O'clock on 27 September 1831 at St James Garden Cemetery, Liverpool, Metropolitan Borough of Liverpool, Merseyside, England[2][3]. Grave 945C
