She was on the census with her parents in Poland, Chautauqua county, New York in 1850 and 1855.[1][2]
Harriet married Nelson Stedman on 06 Nov 1859 in Mayville, Chautauqua, New York. They were on the census in Poland, NY in 1860.[3]
Nelson and Harriet moved to Grand Rapids, La Salle county, Illinois by 1870.[4] Harriet's mother and brothers also moved there.
They moved to Pella township in Ford county, Illinois by 1880.[5]
Harriet and Nelson had at least seven children.
She passed away in 1893 of jaundice due to gallstones.[6] She was buried in Brenton cemetery near Piper City, Illinois. [7]
