Biography

Hattie Anne and Gordon were married at Assumption Church in Sandwich, Essex, Ontario, Canada, on 19 Jul 1909 and moved to 232 Josephine Street in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA.

Their only child, a daughter, Doris; was born on 12 Jan 1910 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA.

Gordon and Hattie Anne were only married a brief 13 months before she passed away of tuberculosis.

Following the death of Hattie, Gordon and their daughter, Doris moved back to the home of his father Henri Réaume in LaSalle, Essex, Ontario, Canada.

Gordon married a second time to Eva Marie Reaume and while they were settling into married life and making their home on Front Street in Ojibway (LaSalle), Essex, Ontario, Canada, Doris went to live with Gordon's sister - her Aunt Marie Anne Reaume Seewald back to the families home on Josephine St., Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA.

Unfortunately, Doris died 1 month shy of her 6th birthday on 13 Dec 1915 in Detroit, Wayne, Michigan, USA. Her body was brought back to LaSalle, Essex, Ontario, Canada for burial with her Mother Hattie Anne at Assumption Cemetery in Sandwich (Windsor), Essex, Ontario, Canada.
