Bennett Rector, son of Jacob Rector and Mary Ann Hitt, was born March 10, 1867 in Fauquier County, Virginia. He married first to Prudence Huff. They had seven children. After Patience died, Bennett married Sarah Bryant on March 2, 1808 in Washington County, Virginia[1][2]. They had seven children. Bennett died May 22, 1845 in Pikeville, Bledsoe, Tennessee and was buried in Rector Cemetery, Evensville, Rhea, Tennessee[3]
