1879/09/29 He signed his Last Will which mentioned: "To son, Simon P. REDMON for "having to take care of myself & his mother in our old ages. (witnesses) Wm. T. NUNNELEE & David YOUNGBLOOD".
1880/02/09 His Last Will was probated [per Will Book B p44].
1879 He died at the age 89 & was buried at AL,Pike-Co,Shellhorn,Antioch-Church-of-Christ-Cemetery. His old gravestone is still present but broken & so it was replaced.
