(note: Thomas wrote his will on 13 July 1665 as a resident of All Saints parish, Colchester (National Archives, PROB-11-320-16). It went to probate on 3 March 1665/66, giving bracket dates for his death. It refers to his children Thomas and Mary in New England. There is no evidence Thomas, Sr., left Colchester.)
