Biography
Nelson P Reed was born in December 1850 in Warren Twnp., Belmont Co., Ohio.. He was the son of John Reed and Martha Price.

- John K Reed, age 32, male, , farmer, $3000 real estate, $500 personal property, born Ohio; Martha E Reed, age 29, female, , born Ohio; Nelson Reed, age 9, male, , born Ohio, attended school; Cowgill Reed, age 5, male, , born Ohio.[1]
He died 11 September 1861 in Warren Twnp., Belmont Co., Ohio.[2] A victim of the diptheria epidemic on Leatherwood Ridge in 1861. He is buried in Bethel Cemetery in Baileys Mills, Ohio.[3]
