Anne (Reed) Armstrong (abt. 1789 - 1870)

Biography

Ann was christened at SAINT PETER AND ALLENHEADS CHAPELRIES, ALLENDALE, NORTHUMBERLAND on either 18 Oct 1789^[1] or 1790^[2] Her parents were William and Ann Reed.

Ann married Robert Armstrong on 9 Nov 1811, at Allendale, Northumberland.^[3]

At the time of the 1841 England and Wales census, Ann was 50-54.^[4] She lived at Middlerigg, Allendale, Northumberland, with husband Robert (50-54, Lead ore miner) and children Mary (20), John (15, Lead ore miner), Hannah (13), George (11, Lead ore dresser), Bartholomew (11, lead ore dresser) and Elizabeth (7), and Ann Reed (70 - her mother?). All were born in Northumberland.

Died Y. 1870 Age: 81-82.
